The client approached us with a request to develop an efficient project pricing tool that would allow processing a large volume of data and parameters. The existing solution lacked sufficient clarity and did not offer the ability to compare multiple valuations.

About the project

As part of the PoC, we set out to verify whether a web-based application could handle complex data entry, generate high-quality visual outputs (charts and tables) for large screens, support exports to Excel and PDF, and remain accessible across devices without the need for installation or offline functionality.

A key objective was to determine whether the entire solution could be built within a single technology stack — specifically using the React framework for both the front end and back end. Our goal was to prove that this approach was not only functionally viable but also technically feasible.

Business Challenge

The challenge was to design a solution robust enough to handle complex data and calculations while remaining easily accessible via a web interface without the need for installation.

Given the short timeframe (2 months), we decided to proceed with the development in the form of a Proof of Concept. The aim was to verify whether the entire application could be built exclusively using React technologies – including business logic, visualizations, and exports – without the need to deploy a separate backend solution.

Project Timeline:

1. Client input gathering

The initial phase involved a detailed discussion with the client to understand the needs, limitations, and expectations for the solution. We gathered specific requirements for functionality, user scenarios, and technical preferences.

2. Solution design and functionality definition

We prepared both the product and technical solution design, including user interface, data structure, and user management. We defined core and advanced features necessary to meet the PoC objectives. This phase also included UX/UI design proposals.

3. PoC development and testing

Based on the specifications, we implemented a functional prototype using the preferred React technology. Development was conducted in a local environment, accompanied by continuous testing, debugging, and validation of key components.

Results & Business Impact

The result of the project is a digital web application that significantly streamlines and clarifies the project valuation process.
