Despite current challenges, the digital industry is constantly growing. We saw this at Europe’s leading digital marketing & tech, DMEXCO. After two years, it moved from online back to Cologne.
Where, when, and how…
DMEXCO brings together key players in digital business, marketing, and innovation. It took place on September 20 20. and 21 at the Koelnmesse exhibition center. This year, organizers welcomed more than 40,000 visitors from 91 countries. The central topic was the future of marketing, focusing on data acquisition and usage. Areas such as search engine marketing, video content or advertising on social networks, e-commerce, and customer experience were represented in thematically divided sections. A team consisting of Števo (CTO), Pali (Sales Director), and Martin (Digital Marketing Specialist) represented Cassovia Code at the event.
Big names in e-commerce
SAP is one of the largest software companies in the world and, at the same time, golden partner of the DMEXCO conference. This year, the German giant presented innovations in Customer Experience. Their intelligent tools aim to provide a perfect digital experience to visitors of web portals and customers of e-shops.
SAP Commerce technology is an integral part of our tech stack. Thanks to the long-term cooperation with the Czech company SIKO and our colleagues’ skills and tenacity, we can expand the SAP team and take it one step further. Therefore, were excited to meet the SAP CX experts at DMEXCO.
Excellent coffee, interviews with CX professionals, and selfies on the moon. These and much more were offered by Bloomreach at DMEXCO. Today, the American company cooperates with over 850 global brands, including well-known names such as Bosch, Puma, and Marks & Spencer. At the same time, it is our partner on two fronts – as a technology partner in implementing Bloomreach portfolio products and as a client in releasing a new website. At the beginning of this year, we launched the new Bloomreach website, built on a headless CMS system and supplemented with modern, interactive elements.
We didn’t miss other players in the e-commerce field, such as Infobib, Mirakl, Bigcommerce, or the leading German open-commerce platform Shopware. These product companies offer sophisticated solutions in the field of e-commerce, which are accessible even to medium and smaller clients. We explored the possibilities of future collaborations that would allow us to develop our technological portfolio further and address new segments.
Web3 was also one of the central topics of DMEXCO. It represents the next stage of web development and is associated with cryptocurrencies, blockchain, NFT trading, and, of course, the Metaverse. This was the theme of the afterparty organized by w3.vision, and our team was there. We continued our informal networking at the Shopware stand, where together with nine technology partners, they exhibited open commerce solutions.
What did the visit to DMEXCO bring us?
Certainly a lot of new contacts and inspiration. At the same time, it was a confirmation that Cassovia Code is no longer just a small software house from Slovakia. On the contrary, it is a relevant and reliable partner. Thanks to the technologies our people work with, we are moving forward and can confidently communicate with the key players on the global stage.
