This year’s Halloween Night was all about games. A thrilling Halloween quiz kicked off the competitive energy, while the escape room challenge brought the whole team together on the hunt for a mysterious artifact. And, of course, no game night would be complete without well-deserved rewards—pizza & beer fueled us until the very end!
Waiting for the holiday season can feel like it drags on forever, so this year we broke it up with a Halloween party, inviting everyone who loves games and costumes (which, let’s be real, is a good chunk of our team!).
The day before Halloween, we transformed the Cassovia Code office into a spooky lair filled with mysterious details, bats, and skeletons. Small prizes awaited the winners, perfect for the IT pros among us who are still kids at heart.
First up was our traditional Pablo’s Quiz. Once again, Pali’s creative questions had everyone in stitches. The top guessers took home the prize, while the rest of us were reminded of those college days when getting through to the next semester often depended more on luck than knowledge.
Elves, Villains, and Superheroes – the Halloween Costumes Didn’t Disappoint
Creativity and attention to detail go a long way, not just in development and testing but also in putting together killer Halloween costumes. After a team vote, the best costume went to Sima, who scored a basket full of sweets of every shape and flavor.
The Exit Game Challenge Tested Our Wits
The Halloween exit game was a great way to work on team bonding and let us see our coworkers in a new light. We discovered who’s the top strategist (who prefers to ask for two hints at a time), has an eagle eye for detail, is up for any challenge, and would rather sneak out for a smoke break. The lesson of the night? (Almost) nothing is as tough as it seems at first glance. Hats off to the Saška, Sima, Matron, and Tomi team, who cracked the puzzles with barely any hints and just within the time limit.
With pizza and beer keeping the energy up, we bounced between games, laughter, and dancing, soaking in everything Halloween has to offer—spooky decorations, shared fun, and moments that brought our team closer together.
